SATURDAY, NOV. 17. 2pm
FAMILY & YOUTH PROGRAM
ADMISSION: $6.00

The program begins with Danielle, a Latina MTF youth featured in Becky Burklee and Kathy Hines' documentary, Youth Outloud! Next, three young sisters struggling to understand their Uncle Bill's transition to Aunt Barbara in first-time filmmaker Melissa Regan's No Dumb Questions. The family theme continues with Just Call Me Kade, about an Arizona teen's transition from female to male and how it affects his relationships with loved ones.

The program also includes the San Francisco premiere of Beautiful Bones, about family gender roles. This experimental short is by Matt Wolf, an NYU film student who hails from the Bay Area. Our family program ends with Shih Tsu Happens - The Contest, in which Lilith crashes brother Bernie's hopes for a romantic evening alone with his pop star idol, Blissina Arfuilera.

Co-Presented by LYRIC (Changelings), Frameline, and Youth Gender Project
